The exact 4-week cycle system — strength, Olympic lifts, and plyometrics — that builds an elite, game-ready jump. Jump higher for longer, calm down cranky knees, and start hitting over the block. Every exercise comes with a video demo. No guessing.
Most players hit a wall not because they're lazy, but because they're doing the wrong things in the wrong order:
Your vertical is built from two things — how much force your legs produce, and how fast you produce it. Train only one and you plateau.
This program is engineered to build both at the same time, then peak them right when you re-test. That's why athletes jump their highest after this system — not during it.
Why most athletes only train one side of their jump — and stall.
Big lifters who never do plyos. Tons of force, but slow to produce it. Strong in the gym, flat-footed on the court.
Plyo-only athletes. Fast early gains, then a hard plateau — because there's no force left to feed the speed.
Strength training builds Force. Plyometrics build Rate of Force Development. This program waves them together across a 4-week cycle — Accumulation → Intensification → Peak → Deload & Test — and shifts the emphasis with your season. That's the whole secret, and it's what you're getting.
Not a random PDF of exercises — a full periodized system you can run cycle after cycle, season after season.
Four complete training days — Max Strength, Plyometrics + Sprint, Strength-Speed, and Posterior Chain + Reactive — laid out week by week with exact sets, reps, and percentages.
Off-season, pre-season, and in-season game plans so you keep your hops all year — and never lose what you built once the season starts.
In-depth technique coaching for every movement — with a QR code that opens a video demo instantly. Hang cleans, trap bar work, depth jumps, the spike approach, and more.
Exactly how to test your standing and approach vertical, how to warm up, and how to ramp to your top sets so every session is safe and dialed in.
How to progress between cycles, what to eat and how to recover, age/experience guidelines, and the soreness-vs-pain rules that keep you healthy.
A built-in testing protocol so you see your standing and approach vertical climb — not just "feel" it.
Olympic-lift derivatives and reactive plyos train the exact triple-extension your takeoff needs.
Build the jumping endurance to be just as explosive in the fifth set as you were in the first.
Posterior-chain, calf and tibialis work strengthens the tissue around your knees — athletes report real relief from patellar tendon pain.
A dedicated spike-approach breakdown that turns your run-up into vertical lift on the stat sheet.
Scan the QR code next to any exercise and watch the demo. Perfect technique, every rep.
"As a beta tester for Zach's vert program, I was able to improve my jumping endurance, jump higher for longer periods of time, and also increase my max touch."
— Willson Yu, High School Senior
"I've been training with Zach since freshman year when I had a 30-inch vert, but after two years of consistent training I was able to add more than a foot of vert. The exercises are extremely helpful not only for my vertical, but for my patellar tendon pain too."
— Ryan Cheng, High School Junior
"Zach's vert program transformed my vertical from 30 to 35.5 inches in just 3 months — building my strength base with lifts and training my central nervous system with plyos."
— Sylas Li, High School Junior
A lot of people know me for my crazy jumping abilities, but it wasn't always that way. In the beginning of 8th grade, my vertical was so bad that I couldn't even touch the net at 5'4". It was probably around 25 inches. But I kept jumping, trying to reach the net, and eventually touched it. This process kept going until the last day of 8th grade, where I grabbed the rim for the first time.
I didn't know it at the time, but by jumping and trying to reach things that I couldn't, I was creating adaptations in my body that allowed me to jump higher. This process kept going until I reached a 42-inch vertical — a number that stayed for 2 years. I hit a plateau and could no longer increase my vertical.
After doing a lot of research about lifting, deloading, and plyometrics, I came up with a system that allowed me to increase my vertical 4 inches to a 46-inch vertical in just 3 months. And this success didn't just work for me — I put a couple of my friends through my program and they saw amazing results as well.
